About Us
We are Jeremy and Cara, a couple from the US with a passion for travel, learning about different cultures and food, and all things geeky.
Our Youtube channel now has over 8 million views and 45,000 subscribers and continues growing daily. Our travels have been featured in publications like The Daily Mail, YorkMix, and The Mirror.
We are digital nomads who love finding and showcasing unique and quirky places and inspiring others to travel to new places, but it took us a few years to find this passion.
How It Started
In August 2018, feeling unfulfilled and bored with our lives (and also wanting to live closer to Disney World), we moved across the country from our home in Washington state to follow our dreams of living in Florida.
We quickly learned that although we loved the occasional Florida vacation, there were a number of factors that just weren’t the best fit for us. Then in 2020, our lives dramatically changed (as it did for so many others). We went from frequenting Disney World almost daily to sitting at home, furloughed from our jobs almost overnight. That year put a lot of things into perspective for us. We realized that we truly wanted to travel the world, something we always said we wanted to do, but never managed to make happen.
So in February of 2021, we sold off most of our belongings, put the rest in storage, and set off on an adventure to travel the world. After travelling to many states throughout the US, we took our first big international trip to the UK in March 2022, road tripping all over England and Scotland for a month.
We have so much more we want to accomplish and feel like we are just getting started, but if we had not moved to Florida and taken the path we did, we wouldn’t have met the amazing people we’ve met along the way or unlocked our true passion for sharing new and exciting experiences.
How It’s Going
We have multiple friends who live in the UK and we both have English ancestry (plus Jeremy has Welsh ancestry and I have Scottish ancestry), so it seems natural that we’ve now spent so much time in the UK. Our friends Shaun and Caroline brought us over some British treats when they were on holiday in the Florida and we made videos trying them a few years ago. People seemed to love watching us try British snacks and treats, so we kept looking for more foods we could try. We kept getting asked when we would visit the UK, and finally in 2022, we made it happen. One year later and we’re now on our third trip. We love exploring the UK, this time with our dog Carly.😊
We’ve received so many suggestions of places to visit, new things to try, and meeting so many of you along the way. We can’t wait to share more of our adventures with you as we continue to explore the UK and beyond.
